|Woojin is a sophomore studying Classics and History at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Having played Certamen (Latin quiz-bowl) in high school, Woojin understands the importance of providing a fun, and even competitive, way of learning, so he volunteers his services as a Certamen question writer, moderator, and coach at the state and national levels. He enjoy playing guitar and singing (check out his channel at www.youtube.com/hugewooj), eating new and tasty foods, watching 'Arrested Development,' talking about Jesus, reading Ovid, running (in circles), digressing, and daydreaming. |
Taylor is a second-year Classics Major at the University of Virginia and is currently in her ninth year of Latin. She has been playing Certamen since middle school and sat on the Medusa Mythology Exam Committee as the student member. Presently, she is planning the 2013 UVa Classics Day as the Classics Day Chair. Her areas of interest include mythology, Ancient Greek, and studying an increasingly large number of languages.
Tyler Heist is a student at University of Richmond, majoring in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Computer Science. Having been a Kentucky JCLer all of his JCL career, he is really excited to be starting his SCL career as VSCL Parliamentarian!
Paul De earned his B.S. in architecture at the University of Virginia before eventually becoming a web developer. having served on state and national SCL boards, he now spends a fair bit of time crashing national and state Latin conventions, welcomed at (almost) all places he dares to venture!
|Claire is a sophomore at the College of William and Mary, currently studying both Ancient Greek and in Mason School of Business (Marketing). She has been taking Latin for six years and Greek for four! Besides Classics, Claire enjoys professional football (go Ravens), working in the Tribe football film room and causing general chaos, as well as moderating certamen here and there.|
